Data Governance SME

We are seeking a Data Governance Subject Matter Expert (SME) with at least 5 years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in data management, IT, Engineering, or a related field, and will have over 10 years of demonstrated experience in data governance, data management, and enterprise data strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing large-scale data governance programs.
• Designing, implementing, and operationalizing enterprise data governance frameworks and operating models.
• Hands-on experience in dataset inventory, data catalog implementation, data classification, and data quality rule definition.
• Experience with data governance and catalog tools (e.g., Unity Catalog, Microsoft Purview or similar).
• Ensuring governance is applied and enforced within systems and processes while balancing business, governance, and technical requirements.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
