Responsibilities:
- Assess and verify configuration data updates and prepare these for inclusion in the ILS database.
- Provide technical/logistics support for engineering changes, modifications, and technical instructions associated with the Al Jawf Class Engineering Systems and shore-side supporting facilities, including specialized workshops and the Land and Sea Magnetic & Acoustic Ranges.
- Coordinate obsolescence issues within the RSNF Engineering Authority and analyze stock and usage data.
- Compile engineering briefs for RSNF officers.
- Contribute to level 4 technical meetings as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Attend other meetings and liaise with other Directorates of the RSNF as needed.
- Comply with all RSNF directives, safety procedures, and maintain confidentiality of RSNF and Hunter Project data.
Job Requirements:
Essential:
- Educated to degree level in Engineering or equivalent professional qualification, or a combination of training, experience, and BTEC National Certification in Engineering (minimum).
- Knowledge and experience with the control and validation of configuration data and data change processes in technical/logistics engineering support.
- Working knowledge and experience of an ILS computer database.
- Working knowledge of obsolescence management.
- Experience of workplace health & safety.
Desirable:
- Mine Hunter Engineering experience.
- Experience in various stages of engineering through life support and equipment life cycle management.
- Knowledge of ITAR.
