Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, deploy, and support ETL and ELT workflows using Informatics PowerCenter and SQL.
  • Integrate data from Oracle databases, enterprise applications, APIs, SFTP, and flat files.
  • Prepare source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, interface specifications, and support documentation.
  • Monitor scheduled jobs, investigate failures, perform root-cause analysis, and restore services promptly.
  • Apply data validation, reconciliation, logging, error-handling, and audit controls.
  • Support production releases, data corrections, change requests, and user acceptance testing.
  • Maintain interface inventories, data lineage, operational procedures, and incident records.
  • Coordinate with data engineers, application teams, vendors, analysts, and business users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in data integration, ETL development, or application integration.
  • Hands-on experience with Informatics PowerCenter workflows, mappings, sessions, and production support.
  • Strong Oracle SQL and PL SQL skills, including query optimisation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with APIs, JSON or XML, SFTP, flat files, batch processing, and incremental data loads.
  • Knowledge of data quality, reconciliation, job scheduling, version control, and incident management.
  • Strong documentation, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Preferred Exposure

  • REST or SOAP services, middleware, Apache Airflow, dbt, Python, shell scripting, or Power BI.
  • Cloud data platforms, CI CD practices, data governance, and agile delivery methods.
