Key Responsibilities
- Assess current data governance practices and define clear roadmaps for improvements.
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures to enhance quality, consistency, and compliance.
- Collaborate with data owners to define stewardship roles and accountability.
- Conduct assessments to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities in data quality.
- Monitor compliance with governance policies and measure initiative effectiveness.
- Conduct training and workshops to promote awareness of governance principles and best practices.
- Support lifecycle management initiatives including classification, retention, privacy, and security.
- Ensure governance alignment across systems, platforms, and business processes.
- Support the implementation of governance tools and technologies.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 7+ years in data governance or management roles.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and regulations.
- Experience in conducting quality assessments and governance evaluations.
- Familiarity with governance tools and enterprise data management practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Leadership and team development capabilities.
- Native Arabic speaker with fluent English skills.

- CDMP – Certified Data Management Professional
- DGI-P – Data Governance & Stewardship Professional
