Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of data management practices and frameworks.
- Support and coordinate data management projects and initiatives across the organization.
- Develop, maintain, and implement data management policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- Assess compliance with applicable data management requirements, policies, and controls.
- Prepare compliance assessments, reports, findings, and recommendations.
- Support data governance activities and promote effective data management practices across business functions.
- Collaborate with business, IT, and data stakeholders to identify and address data management requirements and issues.
- Monitor data management activities and support the identification and resolution of data-related issues.
- Prepare and present data management reports, updates, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support data management initiatives.
- Stay up to date with data management standards, frameworks, and industry best practices.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in data management, data governance, or a related field.
- Experience in project management and delivering data-related initiatives.
- Practical experience and strong knowledge of data management principles, processes, and practices.
- Experience in compliance assessment, monitoring, and reporting.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of data management and data governance concepts.
- Good understanding of data management processes, standards, and frameworks.
- Knowledge of data quality, metadata, data classification, data governance, and data lifecycle management.
- Ability to assess compliance against data-related requirements, policies, and controls.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to translate findings into clear recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Good project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
