The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of overall experience in Murex, with 5 to 7 years specifically dedicated to migration projects. Proficiency in MXML 3.1 and related XML/XST technologies is essential, which includes expertise in Murex migration projects, development of MXML Exchange workflows, knowledge of SWIFT and paper confirmations, and familiarity with trade interfaces such as MarkitWire, TOF, OMGEO, and RTNS. A comprehensive understanding of market data uploads in both real-time (RTBS) and batch (MDIT) modes, along with experience with contract, deliverable, event, and exchange workflows, is also required. Technical skills in messaging queue creation and UNIX shell scripting, as well as a thorough grasp of the front-to-back trade life cycle involving FX, IR, FI, and Equity products, are necessary.
Additionally, the candidate should possess strong soft skills such as the ability to manage complex migration projects, strong analytical skills for workflow development, effective communication across technical and business teams, and adaptability to diverse trade interfaces and market data processes.
