Data Migration Business Analyst (BA)

About the Job:

A large bank in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Migration Functional Lead for its Murex greenfield implementation project.

Responsibilities:

• Develop MXML import and export workflows utilizing MXML Exchange.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Murex 3.1 workflows and MXML, including trade, contract, and exchange workflows.
• Apply extensive experience in Murex workflow development covering trade life cycle, system interface workflow creation, confirmation generation, error management, and OSP.
• Propose enhancements to existing solutions using analytical and technical expertise.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 7 to 10 years of overall experience with 5 to 7 years dedicated to migration projects involving Murex.
• Proficiency in MXML 3.1, including the use of XML/XST languages, Data Dictionaries, and Templates.
• Development of MXML import and export workflows utilizing MXML Exchange.
• Technical proficiency in creating messaging queues (MQ) and UNIX shell scripting.

Hard Skills:

• Expertise in Murex migration projects.
• Proficiency with MXML 3.1 and related XML/XST technologies.
• Experience with trade interfaces such as MarkitWire, TOF, OMGEO, and RTNS.
• Understanding of market data uploads in both real-time (RTBS) and batch (MDIT) modes.
• Familiarity with SWIFT and paper confirmations.
• Comprehensive grasp of the front-to-back trade life cycle and awareness of FX, IR, FI, and Equity products.

• Ability to manage complex migration projects.
• Strong analytical skills for workflow development.
• Effective communication across technical and business teams.
• Adaptability to diverse trade interfaces and market data processes.
