You will be responsible for the design and execution of end-to-end data migration processes, collaborating with business analysts, developers, and system owners to migrate and validate large volumes of data for enterprise use.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Analyze legacy systems and define migration strategies and data models.
- Design and implement ETL workflows using SQL, Python, or ETL tools (Talend, Informatica).
- Perform data cleansing, profiling, and quality assurance checks.
- Collaborate with technical teams for mapping and transformation validation.
- Execute test migrations, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and reconciliation reporting.
- Support cutover planning and go-live execution with minimal disruption.
- Maintain detailed documentation and audit-ready records of all migration processes.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- 5+ years of data migration experience in large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL tools (Talend, Informatica, SSIS).
- Experience migrating from legacy ERP or database platforms (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Strong understanding of data governance and validation frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud migration tools (AWS DMS, Azure Data Factory) is a plus.
- Exposure to government or regulatory data projects is advantageous.
