Job Description:
- Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes and workflows.
- Data Management: Build and manage data pipelines to move data from multiple sources into a data warehouse or other storage systems.
- Data Quality: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data through validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting.
- Collaboration: Work with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimization: Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, optimize query performance, and tune processes for efficiency.
- Data Storage: Contribute to data storage architecture and data modeling to support business needs.
Required Skills:
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and experience with various ETL tools and platforms.
- Programming: Knowledge of scripting and programming languages is often required for building and automating ETL processes.
- Analytical: Ability to analyze data needs, interpret data models, and resolve data-related issues.
- Databases: Experience with different databases, both relational and NoSQL, is crucial.
