What You Will Be Doing:
- Design the enterprise data model and map multiple source systems into a canonical model (UDM/GIM) on an Informatica stack.
- Implement data quality measures including source profiling, transformation rules, and handling granularity mismatches and derived/composite fields.
- Develop and optimize ETL/data pipelines for seamless data movement across systems.
- Design and manage databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Implement data modeling and data architecture best practices.
- Work with cloud platforms to build and deploy scalable data solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives.
- Utilize Spark and Kafka for data processing and analytics.
- Ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and transformation of large-scale datasets.
Key Requirements:
- Strong SQL skills.
- Strong Data Engineering foundation including medallion architecture and slowly changing dimensions (SCDs).
- Experience with any cloud platform (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
- Strong understanding of logical and physical data modeling (not just star schema).
- Good knowledge of industry modeling like Party/Event/Location/Classification/Resource Item supertypes.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, or SQL Developer.
- Experience with ETL and data pipeline development.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms.
- Database management experience.
Good to Have:
- Experience with a canonical/industry reference model, e.g., IBM IIW-style supertypes.
- Experience mapping many disparate sources into one enterprise model.
Soft Skills:
