The Opportunity:
Presight seeks a meticulous and proficient Data Modeler to design and document data architecture and modeling solutions that support enterprise information management, business intelligence, machine learning, data science, and other business interests of Presight AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business needs into robust data models for applications and related systems.
- Coordinate with multiple technical teams for integration of functions and identify system enhancements.
- Collaborate with business and solutions teams to implement data strategies and develop data models (conceptual, logical, physical).
- Analyze source systems to understand data and develop accurate data models.
- Define and govern data modeling and design standards and best practices.
- Review data for anomalies affecting architecture evolution.
- Maintain documentation for data architecture and manage a knowledge base for data structure.
- Develop plans for data cleanup and automation of processes.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE), Business Continuity, Information Security, and Governance policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in creating logical and physical data models
- 3 years of experience as a data modeler/data architect in the analytics industry
- Nice to have: Experience with Hive, Python, Erwin, IDA, and Cloud Platforms.
