The Opportunity
Presight is looking for a meticulous and proficient Data Modeler to design & document data architecture and data modeling solutions that support enterprise information management, business intelligence, machine learning, data science and other business interests of Presight AI.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business needs into a robust data model for applications & related systems
- Coordinate with technical teams for appropriate integration of functions
- Work with business and solutions teams to implement data strategies and develop data models
- Identify architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources
- Govern data modeling and design standards
- Review data and identify anomalies
- Prepare documents for data architecture
- Engage in data cleansing and integration support
- Develop plans for automating data clean-up
- Map data sources and targets for data movement
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in creating logical and physical data models
- 3 years of experience as a data modeler/data architect in the analytics industry
- Nice to have: Hive, Python, Erwin, IDA, and Cloud Platform experience
- Market and domain knowledge
- Passion for improvement
- Innovative problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
