We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Manager to lead the integration, management, and optimization of Consumer Data Engineering and MarTech initiatives. The ideal candidate is responsible for driving data strategy, ensuring the smooth operation of data pipelines, enhancing the MarTech ecosystem, and enabling consumer insights through advanced analytics and scalable solutions. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to foster business growth and elevate consumer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Build and mentor a high-performing team; conduct hiring and performance reviews while fostering an inclusive culture. Set and track team goals aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Data Engineering and Consumer Intelligence: Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize data lakes and warehouses, and ensure data governance and compliance with regulations like GDPR and CCPA.
  • MarTech Ecosystem and Analytics: Oversee the integration of MarTech tools, manage marketing analytics implementations, and enhance data collection across platforms.
  • Project and Process Management: Develop project schedules, optimize workflows, and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
  • Technical Oversight: Manage production issues, promote automation, and stay current on emerging technologies.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • 8+ years in data engineering, MarTech, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and AWS services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena).
  • Experience with ETL tools and marketing tools (Tealium, Adobe Analytics).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Additional Skills:

  • Familiarity with Terraform and data automation.
  • Understanding of data governance and compliance regulations.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
