About the Job:
This full-time, hybrid position based in Dubai involves leading and delivering enterprise data and MI automation projects using Databricks and Confluent. You will be responsible for ensuring project plans adhere to timelines and quality standards, while managing stakeholders and technical oversight of data delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise data projects. Develop requirements, project plans, and roadmaps while managing resource allocation and vendor deliverables.
• Stakeholder & Team Management: Act as the primary liaison among business units, technology teams, and vendors. Facilitate updates and tackle escalated issues.
• Technical Oversight: Oversee data solutions on Databricks and real-time data streaming via Confluent Kafka, ensuring compliance with governance and security standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Must-Have:

  • 7+ years in Project Management within banking or financial services.
  • Experience leading data projects with Databricks and Confluent Kafka.
  • Understanding of data architecture and streaming technologies.
  • Management of cross-functional teams.
  • Strong in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.

• Technical Exposure:

  • Databricks (Delta Lake, MLflow, Spark), Confluent Kafka, Azure or AWS, CI/CD tools, Oracle ERP, and PowerBI.

• Preferred:

  • Certifications like PMP, Prince2, or Scrum Master.
  • Knowledge of BCBS 239, GDPR, and data governance principles.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in a relevant field.

KPIs:

• Deliver projects on time and budget.
• Maintain uptime and SLAs for data pipelines.
• Achieve user satisfaction and gather stakeholder feedback.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory milestones.
