Are you a passionate data privacy and protection professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills? In this role, you will ensure the organization’s compliance with data protection laws and regulations, including the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing the data privacy program in collaboration with stakeholders such as business process owners, Legal, Compliance, and Audit. You will assess the privacy implications of emerging technologies including artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and blockchain. Implementation of a Data Privacy and Protection Management System (DPMS), and conducting privacy risk assessments, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), and gap analyses will also be key aspects of your role.
As a champion of data privacy and protection, you will shape strategies that safeguard sensitive information and build trust in a digital native organization. This is your chance to make a significant impact on the future of data privacy!
About You:
You should be degree qualified with at least 7 years of experience in privacy, data protection, security, risk management, auditing, and/or compliance, preferably in the aviation industry. A high level of proficiency with ISO auditing frameworks and international/local data privacy standards, including the EU e-Privacy Directive, EU GDPR, Saudi PDPL, and SDAIA Directives, is essential.
Holding multiple certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Certified Information Privacy Management (CIPM), and/or Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) will be an advantage.
