Data Privacy Expert

About the Job: The Data Privacy Expert will support the organization’s Data Protection & Privacy (DPP) program by implementing privacy governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with global data protection laws, and providing technical and advisory guidance to stakeholders. The role involves managing privacy tracks such as Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA), Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), and Data Subject Requests (DSR), leading client and internal engagements, and driving delivery according to defined project plans.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing and maintaining a privacy governance framework to manage data use in compliance with applicable data protection regulations.
• Create and maintain privacy-related notices, policies, standards, guidelines, and processes.
• Develop, document, and assess appropriate metrics and KPIs for the Data Protection & Privacy program.
• Provide advice and guidance to the DPP team regarding Data Protection & Privacy.
• Offer deep technical privacy guidance, analysis, and feedback to stakeholders.
• Develop, implement, and manage processes and internal controls related to privacy frameworks, and offer privacy support to the DPP department.
• Collaborate with the DPP team to ensure compliance with data protection and privacy laws.
• Liaise with business stakeholders for various privacy tracks (DPIA, RoPA, DSR).
• Manage the team and deliverables according to the project plan.
• Create plans for maintaining privacy tracks.
• Prepare presentations and reports as per customer requirements.
• Conduct stand-up meetings and status updates with both customers and internal teams.
• Assist in developing and administering privacy training and awareness campaigns for various groups within the company.
• Maintain a strong client service orientation and the ability to prioritize and work to tight deadlines.
