Data Privacy Expert

About the Job
We are looking for a Data Privacy Expert with a strong functional knowledge of key data protection regulations such as GDPR and PDPL, as well as security standards like ISO27001. The ideal candidate will have a solid telecom background and a good understanding of data security solutions and tools that fit into IT architectures, including encryption, masking, and data discovery/classification.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Security Risk Assessments and reviews for data security controls, processes, and services.
• Develop data protection policies and guidance notes, and establish templates.
• Define Data Protection technical controls for applications, including definitions for data breaches and data loss prevention (DLP).
• Work closely with Cyber Security teams to streamline processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience with privacy tools (e.g., OneTrust) and an understanding of tools and technologies around data protection and endpoint protection.
• Ability to define and develop Data Protection standards, policies, processes, and procedures.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of personalities.
• Experience in conducting workshops and training is desirable.
• Ability to prioritize work and deliverables efficiently.
