As a Data Privacy Manager at Emirates NBD, your role involves anticipating and identifying data privacy risks and initiating corrective actions to protect the interests of the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement processes to detect, investigate, risk-assess, and document data protection-related incidents and breaches.
- Act as the main contact for reporting any data privacy breaches.
- Conduct or assist with investigations concerning suspected or actual privacy breaches.
- Collaborate with internal clients and colleagues across EMBD jurisdictions to ensure privacy compliance and risk management via Data Privacy Impact Assessments when implementing new initiatives involving personal data.
- Assist in rolling out Data Privacy solutions across the Group.
- Aid in creating a comprehensive periodic report on material pending, ongoing, and new projects, matters, and risks within the Data Privacy Office team.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Solid working knowledge of data privacy concepts, principles, and standards.
- Proven experience in advising on complex and technical areas of compliance regulation.
- Experience maintaining key documents such as plans, strategies, risk registers, and briefings.
- Developed presentation and reporting skills.
