Data Product Owner

The Data Product Owner is responsible for the Product’s health and development, ensuring business value through the delivery of the product roadmap using agile delivery methods. This role is focused on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Data Engineering, where the aim is to identify critical data elements and ensure their availability in a consistent, high-quality manner through data pipelines. The Product Owner leads a team of data and technology experts to achieve these goals and fulfill business needs.

Responsibilities

• Delivers the product’s objectives using the company’s agile delivery methods.
• Breaks down the product’s objectives into User Stories with Acceptance Criteria and maintains a ready Product Backlog.
• Combines perspectives from customers, data & analytics, operations, technology, and regulation to deliver balanced solutions in collaboration with the Product Manager.
• Prioritizes User Stories and sequences their delivery within each iteration to optimize delivery of business value.
• Assesses the best tools for each Feature and User Story, considering a range of data and technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Strong English language skills.
• 5+ years of work experience in cross-functional environments with multiple perspectives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in product ownership or management and familiarity with agile delivery methods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical competence in data analysis, data pipelines, APIs, machine learning, and/or generative AI.
• Background in healthcare, financial services, or industries with unstructured data in regulated environments.
