Data Project Manager (DATA Treasury Squad)

We are seeking a Data Project Manager to champion the delivery of our strategic data initiative. This role acts as the primary bridge between business executive leadership, domain stakeholders, and technical delivery squads. The Data Project Manager will take complete ownership of a high-profile data platform journey, driving it from its initial architectural blueprint phase through to large-scale physical implementation, and subsequently leading its strategic expansion into new business domains across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Delivery Ownership: Lead the complete lifecycle of data platform delivery, managing transitions from design sprints into complex engineering and implementation phases.
• Stakeholder & Domain Alignment: Partner with business heads and executive data leadership to unpack strategic vision and drive use-case prioritization.
• Cross-Functional Squad Leadership: Coordinate a hybrid delivery model, ensuring alignment between onsite consulting leadership and offshore engineering pods.
• Scope & Roadmapping Strategy: Define MVP boundaries, manage dependencies, and create implementation roadmaps that translate architectural design into business value.
• Program Scaling & Expansion: Establish governance frameworks needed to replicate and scale data platform capabilities across the enterprise.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Financial Services Domain Mastery: Strong project management experience within Corporate Banking, Wealth Management, or Markets ecosystems, familiar with data sovereignty and financial regulations.
• Technical Data Acumen: Proven success in delivering large-scale data programs, particularly in Cloud Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Products (Azure, Databricks, or Cloudera).
• Enterprise-Scale Governance: Knowledge of data governance principles and master data management (MDM) frameworks.
• Strategic Longevity: Experience managing multi-phase, long-term programs, maintaining velocity and stakeholder trust throughout.
