As a Data Reliability Engineer - Intern, you will participate in projects that involve managing our hybrid cloud environment based on AWS and GCP. This role provides exposure to cutting-edge technologies in data, analytics, and artificial intelligence. You will learn to administer and monitor various data processing pipelines, both batch and real-time, while collaborating with diverse teams, including product & tech, core business verticals, and finance.

Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (On-site)
Responsibilities:
- Support the administration of AWS and GCP cloud for data, analytics, and AI
- Ensure system availability and compliance with security policies
- Set up security and stability alerts using tools such as GuardDuty and CloudWatch
- Control costs and optimize them to remain within budgets
- Manage backups for disaster recovery
- Administer GitHub, password management, and security tokens
- Grant and revoke access to BI systems
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and databases (Redshift, Data Lake, RDS, Google BigQuery)
- Administer data visualization tools (Sisense, Tableau) and ETL platforms (Matillion, Airflow)
- Automate repetitive tasks using Python and shell scripting
- Maintain production EC2 instances and have knowledge of DNS and routing
Requirements:
- Fresh Graduates or Final Year students in technical degrees (computer science, engineering, maths, physics)
- Strong knowledge of Linux and shell scripting
- Proficiency in SQL and network security protocols
- Familiarity with data pipelines and job scheduling
- Ability to work under pressure, with self-motivation and creativity
- Strong curiosity and commitment to continuous learning
