In the role of Data Reliability Engineer - Intern, you will engage in projects surrounding the management of our hybrid cloud based on AWS and GCP. This position provides exposure to the latest technologies in data, analytics, and artificial intelligence. You will learn to administer and monitor both batch and real-time data processing pipelines while collaborating with diverse teams, including product & tech, core business verticals, trust & safety, and finance, ensuring their success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the administration of AWS and GCP cloud for data, analytics, and AI.
- Ensure system availability and compliance with security policies.
- Setup security and stability alerts using tools such as GuardDuty, CloudWatch, and Slack integrations.
- Optimize and control costs within budget.
- Manage backups and system restorations in case of disaster.
- Administer GitHub, password management, and security tokens.
- Grant and revoke access to BI systems for users.
- Manage Kubernetes cluster and administer various databases (Redshift, Data Lake, RDS, Google BigQuery).
- Handle data visualization tools (Sisense, Tableau) and ETL platforms (Matillion, Airflow).
- Automate tasks using Python and shell scripting.
- Perform installations, upgrades, and patches on production EC2.
- Possess a working knowledge of DNS, proxies, and general routing.
Requirements:
- Fresh graduates or final-year students from top-of-class technical degrees (computer science, engineering, maths, physics).
- Strong knowledge of Linux and shell scripting.
- Knowledge of SQL and network security protocols.
- Familiarity with data pipelines and job scheduling.
- Ability to work under pressure; self-motivated and entrepreneurially minded.
- A strong curiosity and continuous learning mindset.
