As a Data Reliability Engineer - Intern, you will participate in managing our hybrid cloud infrastructure based on AWS and GCP. This role offers exposure to the latest technologies in data, analytics, and AI, allowing you to learn how to administer and monitor both batch and real-time data processing pipelines. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including product & tech, core business verticals, trust & safety, and finance, to enable their success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the administration of AWS and GCP cloud for data, analytics, and AI.
- Ensure systems function properly and remain secure.
- Report non-compliant systems and administer security groups.
- Set up security and stability alerts using tools like GuardDuty and CloudWatch.
- Optimize and control costs within budget.
- Maintain backups and restore systems in case of disasters.
- Administer GitHub, password managers, and security keys.
- Grant and revoke access on all BI systems for users.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters.
- Administer databases, data lakes, and BI visualization tools.
- Automate tasks using Python and shell scripting.
- Perform tasks related to EC2 instances and understand DNS and routing.
Requirements:
- Fresh graduates or final-year students from top technical degrees (computer science, engineering, maths, and physics).
- Strong knowledge of Linux and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with SQL and network security protocols.
- Understanding of data pipelines and job scheduling.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong curiosity and desire for continuous learning.
