We are seeking a Data Science Intern to support our clients, contribute to product development, and work on AI use cases. The intern will work under the guidance of experienced Data Scientists to analyse data, develop machine-learning models, and identify patterns in large datasets. This position offers hands-on experience in Data Science, contributing to projects that provide valuable insights and solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product and Data Science teams to identify business needs and define project goals and objectives.
  • Assist with data analysis, statistical analysis, and the development of machine learning models.
  • Help design and conduct experiments and simulations to uncover patterns, trends, and insights in data.
  • Participate in team meetings and discussions, share progress updates, and provide suggestions for improving project outcomes.
  • Assist in the data preparation process, including data cleaning, feature engineering, and data transformation.
  • Research new data sources, technologies, and techniques to enhance the quality and accuracy of data analyses and models.
  • Engage in company-organised training programs and learning opportunities to improve skills in Data Science.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of client data and information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience in data science through professional work, academic coursework, or completed data science projects.
  • Proficiency in translating mathematical and data science ideas into Python snippets.
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to think creatively and critically analyse data to identify trends and insights.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
