We are looking for a Data Science Intern to support one of our clients and work on AI use cases. Under the guidance of experienced Data Scientists, you will analyze data, develop machine-learning models, and identify patterns in large datasets. This position provides hands-on experience in the field of Data Science, contributing to projects that yield valuable insights and solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and the Data Science team to identify business needs and define project goals and objectives.
- Assist with data analysis, statistical analysis, and the development of machine learning models.
- Support the design and execution of experiments and simulations to detect patterns, trends, and insights in data.
- Develop data visualizations and dashboards to communicate results and insights to stakeholders.
- Participate in team meetings, share progress updates, and suggest improvements for project outcomes.
- Assist with data preparation, including data cleaning, feature engineering, and data transformation.
- Research new data sources, technologies, and techniques to enhance data analyses and models.
- Participate in company-organized training programs to improve Data Science skills.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of client data and information.
Qualifications:
- B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and familiarity with SQL.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and containerization frameworks like Docker.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and critically analyze data.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment, multitask, and manage time under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
