Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a high-performing team of data scientists.
- Oversee and report on daily operations of data science activities.
- Collaborate with Leadership, Product, Business, and Engineering teams to drive insights and intelligent decision-making.
- Research, design, implement, and deploy Machine Learning algorithms.
- Analyze large and complex data sets to solve non-routine analysis problems using statistical and machine learning approaches.
- Develop quality control and pre-processing tools for various data streams.
- Communicate technical results and methods clearly and interact with external clients.
- Stay informed about developments in Data Science and adjacent fields.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Optimization, Econometrics, Operational Research, or equivalent; MS or Ph.D. preferred.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience applying machine learning at scale.
- Experience in managing teams and articulating business questions to arrive at data-driven answers.
- Demonstrated skills in selecting appropriate statistical/machine learning tools for data analysis problems.
- Proficiency in extracting actionable insights from quantitative data.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize workloads effectively.
- Strong programming skills in Python/R/SAS/SQL.
- Knowledge of version control systems and algorithm deployment in operational environments.
- Familiarity with cloud computing resources and comfort with command-line interfaces.
