Data Scientist

Presight is seeking a qualified and proficient Data Scientist with a proven ability to drive business growth and operational efficiency. This role involves developing and delivering diverse data products across the company, including recommendation engines, predictive models, business-logic automation, and machine learning applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Problem Formulation & Data Exploration: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data science problems; perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns and assess data quality.
• Data Preparation & Feature Engineering: Clean and transform data, implement feature engineering techniques, and maintain data pipelines for efficient processing.
• Machine Learning Model Development & Deployment: Apply appropriate machine learning algorithms to build and optimize predictive and prescriptive models; deploy models in production environments and monitor their performance.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in an Applied Data Scientist role or similar.
• Skills:
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python.
  • Proven track record of developing and deploying production-ready machine learning models.
  • Experience with model optimization, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with deep learning models, GPU acceleration libraries (e.g., CUDA, cuDNN), and MLOps tools is preferred.

Communication Requirements: Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
