Key Responsibilities:
- Problem Formulation & Data Exploration: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data science problems; perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns and assess data quality.
- Data Preparation & Feature Engineering: Clean and transform data, implement feature engineering techniques, and maintain data pipelines for efficient processing.
- Machine Learning Model Development & Deployment: Apply appropriate machine learning algorithms to build and optimize predictive and prescriptive models; deploy models in production environments and monitor their performance.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in an Applied Data Scientist role or similar.
- Skills:
- Expert-level proficiency in Python.
- Proven track record of developing and deploying production-ready machine learning models.
- Experience with model optimization, deployment, and monitoring.
- Familiarity with deep learning models, GPU acceleration libraries (e.g., CUDA, cuDNN), and MLOps tools is preferred.
Communication Requirements:
Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
