Position

The company is seeking a Data Scientist based in the UAE to join the Business Analytics team. This role will involve evaluating and influencing growth strategies in the Middle East & Africa. You will collaborate with a diverse team of analysts, data scientists, business leaders, and engineers, contributing to the development of data skills and efficient work processes. Work Conditions: Full-time, On-site with flexibility for remote work.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop data-driven strategies to increase the company's user base and subscribers.
  • Identify user growth opportunities in the SAMEA region and utilize experimentation for growth.
  • Create and communicate impactful recommendations to enhance product offerings and optimize user messaging.
  • Build scalable data pipelines and dashboards for performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with business partners to discover growth opportunities.
  • Design and implement comprehensive tests, ensuring tracking of relevant metrics.
  • Present findings to senior collaborators to influence business direction.

Who You Are:

  • A Data Scientist/Analyst with a minimum of 2 years of experience in data insights using tools such as Python/R and SQL.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud data platforms (BigQuery or GCP) is a plus.
  • Experience with AI tools (LLMs and coding assistants) is advantageous.
  • Intellectually curious and creative, with a keen interest in business and data.
  • Experienced in collaborating with partners to measure the impact of initiatives and present findings coherently.
  • Background in Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • Comfortable working in a globally distributed team, with occasional international travel.
  • Relevant experience in a consumer tech or product company is a bonus.

This position will play a vital role in the company's growth as it aims to expand its user base to over 760 million globally.
