As a Data Scientist at Shory, you will focus on developing innovative computer vision solutions through a variety of projects, including object detection, image segmentation, and fraud detection. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms for object detection, classification, segmentation, and recognition.
- Researching and experimenting with deep learning architectures such as CNNs, RNNs, GANs, and transformers for image and video analysis.
- Preprocessing and annotating image datasets to enhance model training.
- Optimizing and fine-tuning computer vision models for performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Deploying models to production environments and integrating them into scalable AI-driven applications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align AI solutions with business objectives.
- Staying current with the latest research and advancements in computer vision and deep learning.
- Documenting methodologies, findings, and model performance metrics for knowledge sharing.
Security, Compliance & Ethics:
- Implementing security measures for all AI deployments to guard against unauthorized access and potential breaches.
- Ensuring AI models comply with company ethics and compliance regulations.
- Mentoring junior team members, providing guidance and training.
Skills, Education & Experience Required:
- 2-5 years of experience as a Data Scientist in an IT company.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science with a focus on computer vision.
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Strong knowledge of image processing libraries (e.g., OpenCV) and image annotation tools.
- Experience in training and deploying deep learning models in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with MLOps best practices for model lifecycle management and monitoring.
- Solid understanding of classical computer vision techniques and their applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
