As a Data Scientist at Shory, you will focus on developing innovative computer vision solutions through a variety of projects, including object detection, image segmentation, and fraud detection. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms for object detection, classification, segmentation, and recognition.
  • Researching and experimenting with deep learning architectures such as CNNs, RNNs, GANs, and transformers for image and video analysis.
  • Preprocessing and annotating image datasets to enhance model training.
  • Optimizing and fine-tuning computer vision models for performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Deploying models to production environments and integrating them into scalable AI-driven applications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align AI solutions with business objectives.
  • Staying current with the latest research and advancements in computer vision and deep learning.
  • Documenting methodologies, findings, and model performance metrics for knowledge sharing.

Security, Compliance & Ethics:

  • Implementing security measures for all AI deployments to guard against unauthorized access and potential breaches.
  • Ensuring AI models comply with company ethics and compliance regulations.
  • Mentoring junior team members, providing guidance and training.

Skills, Education & Experience Required:

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Data Scientist in an IT company.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science with a focus on computer vision.
  • Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
  • Strong knowledge of image processing libraries (e.g., OpenCV) and image annotation tools.
  • Experience in training and deploying deep learning models in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with MLOps best practices for model lifecycle management and monitoring.
  • Solid understanding of classical computer vision techniques and their applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
