Data Scientist - Data Analytics & Generative AI Expert

Suadeo is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to contribute to the development of a full-stack data platform that integrates Generative AI models and intelligent agents, aimed at automating data analysis and interpretation. Based in Ivry sur Seine, France, Suadeo is a French software company that provides a Self BI Platform designed to empower users with data autonomy and analytics capabilities. The platform integrates Data Governance and Data Visualization, allowing non-IT users to conduct data analysis, exchange data flows, and share insights with ease. Suadeo serves a diverse range of clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Generative AI Development & Integration:

   • Design, train, and fine-tune AI models for document data extraction and structuring.
   • Implement AI-powered agents to automate user interactions and natural language queries.

2. Text-to-SQL & AI for Data Processing:

   • Develop Text-to-SQL algorithms to convert natural language into optimized SQL queries within the Suadeo SDS platform.
   • Enhance query interpretation and execution by leveraging AI models for complex data requests.

3. Document Processing & Structuring:

   • Build AI-driven solutions to connect, index, and query both structured and unstructured documents (Word, PDF, Excel).
   • Ensure seamless integration with Suadeo's data catalog and lineage for knowledge discovery.

4. AI Model Optimization & MLOps:

   • Deploy, monitor, and optimize AI models using MLOps best practices.
   • Continuously assess and improve AI model accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

5. Collaboration with Technical & Business Teams:

   • Work in an Agile SAFe environment alongside DevOps, Data, and Product teams to ensure AI solutions align with business objectives.
   • Provide expertise on AI deployment, automation, and optimization to support internal teams.

Required Technical Skills:

• Generative AI & NLP: Experience with LLMs (GPT, Mistral, Claude, etc.), fine-tuning, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Databases & SQL: Strong expertise in Text-to-SQL, query optimization, and managing large-scale databases.
• Document Processing: Knowledge in OCR, NLP-based text extraction, vector search, and semantic indexing.
• MLOps & Deployment: Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD for AI models.
• Programming Languages: Proficient in Python (Langchain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face), SQL, FastAPI, and REST API.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Science, focusing on Generative AI, NLP, and applied AI solutions.
• Hands-on experience in deploying AI models into production and integrating them into existing data platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to optimize AI models for real-world business applications.
• Experience working in Agile SAFe methodology within cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with data engineers, software developers, and business teams.
