Data Scientist - Machine Learning & Generative AI Expert

Suadeo is a French software company that offers a Self BI Platform to empower users with data autonomy and analytics capabilities. The platform combines Data Governance and DataViz to enable non-IT users to conduct data analysis, exchange data flows, catalog, and share insights seamlessly. We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team to develop cutting-edge solutions leveraging Generative AI and NLP technologies.

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Required Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in Data Science with expertise in Generative AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Generative AI Development & Integration:

   • Design, train, and fine-tune AI models for document data extraction and structuring.
   • Implement AI-powered agents for automating user interactions and natural language queries.

2. Text-to-SQL & AI for Data Processing:

   • Develop Text-to-SQL algorithms for converting natural language into optimized SQL queries.
   • Enhance query interpretation and execution using AI models for complex data requests.

3. Document Processing & Structuring:

   • Build AI-driven solutions to connect, index, and query structured and unstructured documents (Word, PDF, Excel).
   • Ensure integration with Suadeo’s data catalog and lineage for knowledge discovery.

4. AI Model Optimization & MLOps:

   • Deploy, monitor, and optimize AI models using MLOps best practices.
   • Assess and improve AI model accuracy, efficiency, and scalability continuously.

5. Collaboration with Technical & Business Teams:

   • Work in an Agile SAFe environment alongside DevOps, Data, and Product teams to align AI solutions with business objectives.
   • Provide expertise on AI deployment, automation, and optimization for internal teams.

Required Technical Skills:

• Generative AI & NLP: Experience with large language models (LLMs) like GPT, Mistral, Claude, etc.
• Databases & SQL: Strong expertise in Text-to-SQL and query optimization.
• Document Processing: Experience with OCR and NLP-based text extraction.
• MLOps & Deployment: Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD for AI models.
• Programming Languages: Proficient in Python (Langchain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face), SQL, FastAPI, REST API.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Science focused on Generative AI and NLP.
• Experience in deploying AI models into production and integrating them into existing data platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize AI models for business use cases.
• Experience with Agile SAFe methodology.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams.

Language Requirements:

• English proficiency (additional languages are a plus).
