About the Role:

The Data Science team at the company addresses complex problems and enhances customer experiences. As a Deep Learning Engineer, you will work with cutting-edge large language models (LLMs) to develop transformative products that impact millions of customers worldwide. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Software Engineers, Data Analysts, and Operations Managers, to create automated, scalable solutions that revolutionize customer interaction.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Building AI-driven features from scratch, such as personal assistants, chatbots, and copilots.
  • Developing user-focused and backend features utilizing deep learning.
  • Delivering impactful, scalable, and data-driven AI solutions.
  • Collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to tackle deep learning challenges.
  • Integrating innovative AI technologies to drive the company's expansion in AI capabilities.

What You'll Need:

  • Experience in deep learning within the natural language processing domain and with large language models.
  • A bachelor's degree in a STEM field (mathematics, computer science, engineering).
  • Excellent knowledge of data science tools (Python, SQL) and production tools.
  • A thorough understanding of probability and statistics fundamentals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to productionise research effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with Product Owners and other stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

  • A master's or PhD in a quantitative discipline.
  • Solid experience with programming languages such as Java, Scala, or C++.
  • Experience at a large tech company valued over $15 billion.
  • Participation in school/university Olympic medal competitions in physics, maths, economics, or programming.
