Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Modeling: Conduct in-depth analysis of large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify actionable opportunities for improvement.
- Algorithm Development: Design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge predictive models and algorithms that address key challenges within the aviation industry.
- Optimization and Automation: Refine and optimize machine learning models to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability, while exploring opportunities for automation.
- Collaboration and Innovation: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and aviation experts, to co-create innovative solutions that deliver tangible business value.
- Research and Development: Stay updated on advancements in data science, AI, and aviation technology, exploring emerging trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, gathering feedback to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Aviation Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience working as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, preferably in aviation or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, with experience in data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy, scikit-learn).
- Strong understanding of machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and neural networks.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
- Knowledge of aviation operations and industry-specific challenges is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Language Requirements: Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
