Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy language models and RAG systems for financial applications, optimizing and fine-tuning models.
- Support research initiatives in language models and retrieval-augmented generation, staying updated with the latest advancements in NLP, machine learning, and AI.
- Collect, preprocess, and analyze datasets to support model training and evaluation, contributing to data pipeline development.
- Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and methodologies, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and researchers to deliver data science solutions.
- Document methodologies, experiments, and results, preparing reports and presenting findings to team members and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or a related field (master’s preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data science and machine learning.
- Experience with data science projects and model development preferred.
- Some experience working with machine learning models, with exposure to NLP or language models a plus.
- Proficiency in Python programming and machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Knowledge of SQL and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Hands-on experience with data visualization, machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, and basic deep learning.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Desire to learn and grow in data science and AI technologies.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is expected.
Nice to Have:
- Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or AI/machine learning.
- Basic understanding of MLOps and model deployment.
- Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks.
- Experience with data engineering tools and pipelines.
- Understanding of financial services data and analytics.
- Interest in financial modeling and risk assessment.
- Awareness of AI applications in financial services.
