Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, business, and marketing teams to deliver data-powered solutions.
  • Clearly communicate technical results and methods to a variety of external clients.
  • Analyze and extract insights from complex datasets using regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and machine learning techniques.
  • Develop and apply new machine learning techniques for Mozn's solutions, including data pipelines for Natural Language Understanding and Risk Management.
  • Engage with stakeholders to define challenges and propose data-powered solutions.
  • Stay informed about new frameworks and technological advances to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Relevant experience as a data scientist, with over 2 years required for a B.S. degree and over 1 year for an M.S. degree.
  • Over two years of programming experience in object-oriented programming, including data manipulation using Python or other languages.
  • Strong understanding of statistics and probability, including Bayesian methods and conditional probability.
  • Applied experience in conducting model experiments with machine learning.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub).
  • Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases is preferred.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies, such as Spark, and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
  • Expertise in Natural Language Understanding and/or Risk Management applications.
  • Familiarity with containerization frameworks, such as Docker.
  • Research experience in optimization and natural language processing (NLP).
