We are currently seeking a Data Scientist for a full-time position who will provide data-driven solutions to complex strategic and tactical challenges. The ideal candidate will apply statistical analysis, data mining, and incorporate machine learning and predictive analytics into real-world operational processes, particularly in areas such as forecasting, staffing optimization, and process design.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high-performing Data Science, Reporting, and Business Analysis team to oversee ongoing developments and operations.
- Compile and evaluate data to improve operational processes and quality.
- Assist with special projects, trend analysis, and problem-solving.
- Support operational teams with deep dives to enhance process efficiency and resolve errors.
- Establish a vision for productizing data science artifacts and delivering Data Science as a Service.
- Collaborate with reporting and business analysts to interpret datasets and present insights to business partners and senior leadership.
- Manage and create reports, ensuring timely and accurate reporting structures.
- Act as the liaison between operational groups and stakeholders, driving alignment and transparency.
- Identify analytic frameworks and decision technology techniques suitable for various projects.
- Conduct research and analysis to devise strategies for optimal business operations, ensuring efficiency and increased productivity.
- Assist in project management and collaborate with managers to meet operational expectations.
- Track, report, and communicate trends and operational metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- 10+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
- 7+ years of experience in consulting firms is required.
- Strong proficiency in English.
- Proficient in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and R.
- Experience with cloud-based databases like Snowflake, Amazon RDS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL), and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with big data, machine learning, and data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
