Position

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Data Services & Storage Presales professional to join our Middle East & Africa Presales Team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves partnering with sales specialists to offer HPE’s storage solutions to customers, ensuring their business outcomes are achieved. As a Presales, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers, positioning solutions from our wide portfolio including HPE Alletra MP and HPE Zerto, as well as file, object, and backup and recovery solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical acumen, the ability to build relationships, and enjoy consulting with customers. This role benefits from a strong ecosystem in the country and broad support from the UKIMEA organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecting solutions that meet customer business outcomes.
  • Developing proposals and ensuring they align with customer requirements.
  • Providing technical expertise to sales teams and customers through presentations and demonstrations.
  • Identifying key risks and addressing end-customer IT trends.
  • Collaborating with account teams to develop key value propositions.
  • Building and nurturing professional relationships with customer technical teams.
  • Participating in sales forecast meetings and documenting activities throughout the sales cycle.

Education and Experience:

  • First-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications; an advanced degree in technology is preferred.
  • 4–8 years of technical experience in IT focusing on technical consulting and solution selling.
  • Relevant industry certifications are strongly preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong experience in solution configurations, demos, and proofs-of-concept.
  • Well-developed understanding of the company’s solutions and the as-a-service (aaS) business model.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate in applicable local languages as needed.
  • Strong consultative and value-selling skills with the ability to advise customers effectively.

  • Project and time management skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strategic planning and account planning skills.
