About the Job:
The company is seeking a Data SME (Subject Matter Expert) to act as the business and analytical SME for the Market Mapping Program. This role involves identifying the appropriate external and internal datasets, defining the economic and industry modeling frameworks, and ensuring the solutions generate meaningful business opportunities and new client leads. The SME will collaborate with business, data, AI, and technology teams to translate macroeconomic indicators into actionable commercial insights.

Job Description and Key Responsibilities:

• Define and validate the macroeconomic, industry, trade, and company-level data required across 21 countries.
• Assess datasets such as GDP, FDI, trade flows, industry outlooks, company information, and other market intelligence sources.
• Design and oversee econometric, statistical, and predictive models to identify high-growth countries, industries, and corporate prospects.
• Establish methodologies for opportunity identification, including weighting, correlation, ranking, and scoring.
• Validate inclusion, exclusion, or enhancement of variables within the model framework.
• Work with Data Engineering teams to define data acquisition, refresh frequencies, and data quality requirements.
• Collaborate with AI Hub and RM Advisory teams to turn model outputs into actionable business recommendations.
• Support business case preparation and opportunity sizing.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ongoing model performance monitoring.
