Position

This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an office. We are hiring for the next Storage Presales Architect to join our growing Data Solutions team for the Middle East & Africa. This position will be based in Dubai and will align with customers across the United Arab Emirates, covering key verticals of Enterprise & Commercial.

The ideal candidate should be fully proficient in storage technologies, including structured data, unstructured data, and data protection solutions. A passion for technology, proactive attitude, and strong communication skills will be essential. This role involves partnering both internally and externally to reach the right solution for the customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and articulate compelling proposals that meet customer business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and customers to gain mindshare and support solution architecture.
  • Provide insights into IT trends and customer requirements to address gaps or unmet needs.
  • Translate customer business requirements into functional and technical designs to align with business needs.
  • Monitor and nurture the account pipeline from opportunity to closure.
  • Build strong professional relationships with customer executives and advocate for technical strategies.

Language Requirements:
Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in applicable local languages may be beneficial.

Education and Experience:

  • First-level university technical degree or equivalent technical qualifications; an advanced degree in technology is preferred.
  • 8-12 years of technical experience in IT focusing on technical consulting and solution selling.
  • Relevant industry certifications are strongly preferred.

Additional Skills:

  • Advanced understanding of technology trends and solutions.
  • Strong project and time management skills, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to design and deliver product demonstrations to stakeholders effectively.
