Job Description
Sales Specialists & Consultants are product, services, software, or solution specialists responsible for leading the pursuit in their assigned focus areas. They collaborate with and support Account Managers and provide specialist expertise within the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales of storage products and solutions in assigned territory, industry, or accounts.
  • Actively prospects new storage opportunities and cultivates opportunities for storage solutions within existing accounts.
  • Manages, coordinates, and drives sales activities. Builds sales pipeline and drives opportunities to successful closure by effectively using internal sales tools.
  • Formulates and expands solutions to generate additional product or service attachments and up-sell to increase revenue.
  • Coordinates supporting sales activities related to pipeline hygiene through account managers, Presales, channel partners, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborates across the teams to deliver a consistent approach to developing business, including account planning for end-to-end solutions.

Requirements

  • University or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Typically 2-5+ years of sales experience.
  • Storage related sales experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Possesses expertise to assess solution feasibility from a technical and business perspective.
  • Demonstrates a hunter mentality to actively pursue solution opportunities in acquisition and development accounts.
  • Proficient in articulating technical solutions and commercial benefits to clients.
