Position

The Data Specialist - Finance & Projects is responsible for executing the finance data strategy across the Gulf Cluster. This role ensures high-quality, reliable, and governed financial data that supports business performance, compliance, digital transformation, and decision-making. Responsibilities include leading the data workstream for major finance transformations and system deployments, which encompasses data readiness, governance, migration quality, compliance with enterprise data standards, and successful business adoption throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Governance & Quality:

    • Promote finance data governance practices.
    • Ensure data quality, consistency, and completeness aligned with corporate standards.
    • Drive global data management policies and monitor finance master data and KPIs.
    • Manage the data lifecycle and ensure compliance.
    • Lead data cleansing and validation activities.
  • Finance Transformation & Digitalization:

    • Lead the finance data workstream for transformation initiatives.
    • Support the implementation and adoption of digital finance solutions.
    • Act as the finance data subject matter expert during deployment, testing, and stabilization phases.
  • Business Partnership:

    • Serve as the primary contact for finance data topics within the Gulf Cluster.
    • Collaborate with various teams to align local business requirements with the global data strategy.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Finance, Finance Transformation, Data Management, or Digital Finance.
  • Proven experience in leading data governance, data migration, and ERP transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of finance data structures and lifecycle management.

Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English is preferred.
