Key Responsibilities
- Perform standard DBA activities including database administration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain database systems.
- Manage database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery activities.
- Monitor database performance, availability, capacity, and health.
- Perform SQL and database performance tuning.
- Manage users, roles, permissions, and database security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and performance issues.
- Support database migrations, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure data integrity, availability, and reliability.
- Maintain database documentation, procedures, and configurations.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and development teams on database-related requirements.
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
- Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and/or MySQL.
- Good knowledge of SQL, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with HA/DR and database replication.
- Knowledge of database security, access management, and monitoring tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Saudi National.
