Database Administrator (DBA) - Saudi National

We are seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) with 2 to 5 years of experience to support and operate enterprise-scale, mission-critical database platforms across PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL/MariaDB, and Microsoft SQL Server. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in high availability, performance tuning, disaster recovery, replication, backup and recovery, database security, and production database operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage PostgreSQL/Patroni, MongoDB replica sets, MySQL/MariaDB, and SQL Server Always On.
• Ensure high availability, replication, automated failover, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Perform performance tuning, indexing, upgrades, migrations, and patching.
• Implement security, access controls, auditing, and documentation.
• Provide support on client site.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call support and incident resolution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of DBA experience in production environments.
• Saudi national required.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MSSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, high availability, replication, tuning, and migrations.
• Experience with backup tools such as pgBackRest, PBM, Percona XtraBackup, and SQL Server native tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Kubernetes database operators such as Zalando Patroni Operator or Percona Operators.
• Familiarity with Redis, Elasticsearch, or other NoSQL/time-series databases.
• Experience working in an ITIL-based environment.

Location: Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time
Working Hours: 13:00–21:00, Sunday to Thursday, Saudi Arabia time.
