Databricks with SAP BO

As a Databricks with SAP BO professional at the company, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, and SQL Warehouse.
• Transforming and curating data into bronze, silver, and gold layers following medallion architecture best practices.
• Publishing and exposing gold layer datasets through Databricks SQL Warehouse for consumption by SAP BO.
• Collaborating with BO developers to ensure alignment of the semantic layer.
• Conducting data validation and reconciliation between Databricks outputs and BO report datasets.
• Optimizing data models, queries, and partitions for performance, cost, and scalability.

Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: Hybrid, Full-time

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, and SQL Warehouse.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling, specifically in star and snowflake schemas.
• Familiarity with SAP BusinessObjects universe and report structures, with the ability to validate and support BO data consumption.
