Datacenter Operations Engineer

The Datacenter Infrastructure Engineering team supports the company's rapid growth by building and operating hyperscale datacenters. This team manages the end-to-end lifecycle of the server fleet, providing cloud solutions and various infrastructure services to ensure scalability and reliability.

Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time, 24/7 support with scheduled shifts including holidays

Responsibilities:

• Manage server fleet support within a ticketing system, including power cycling, troubleshooting, and replacing failed components.
• Act as the first point of contact for break-fix technicians, prioritize ticketing queues, and resolve escalated issues.
• Perform physical installation, movement, and decommissioning of equipment; support datacenter projects such as capacity expansions and retrofits.
• Assist with inventory and asset tracking, while collaborating with Physical Security and EHS teams to maintain site safety and compliance.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure operational efficiency.
• Participate in a team providing 24/7 support and demonstrate a strong desire to learn and develop new skills to adapt to evolving technologies and business needs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a College/Technician Degree or equivalent professional experience/certification in Engineering.
• Knowledge of Linux and server hardware repairs.
• Working knowledge of technologies such as HTTP, DNS, RAID, and DHCP.
• At least three years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
