To succeed, you should believe in automation as a software engineering problem and be driven by metrics and code. You will work within a site reliability engineer team using Python software engineering skills to operate at scale, from bare metal to application.
Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain clients' private cloud infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of the cloud services.
- Work independently in a customer-facing, on-site role.
Requirements:
- Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
- Proficiency in Bash scripting and Python software development.
- Operational experience and troubleshooting expertise in Linux environments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
- Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with OpenStack or Kubernetes deployment or operations.
- Familiarity with public or private cloud management.
