The Delivering Deal Value (DDV) team within Deals Strategy & Operations provides strategic and operational advice to investors, governments, and major corporations. We focus on operational integration, carve-outs, and value creation to help clients realize synergies and achieve their strategic objectives.
As a Deals Delivering Value Director in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector, you’ll solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing post-merger integrations, identifying synergies to enhance value creation.
- Providing expert advice on deal strategies, managing post-deal execution, and supporting operational due diligence.
- Assisting government entities with Day 1 readiness activities for smooth transitions post-acquisition.
- Managing complex projects to ensure timely and high-quality delivery while leading and coaching teams.
- Cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials and industry leaders.
- Leading business development efforts, drafting proposals, and securing new mandates.
- Mentoring and developing junior team members in a collaborative work environment.
Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (On-site)
Work Conditions: Full-time, with a requirement to travel 30-40% of the time, potentially involving frequent overnight stays away from the base office.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience leading value creation initiatives across the deal lifecycle for TMT assets.
- Must have digital infrastructure and AI experience (data centers, fibre, towers, cloud platforms).
- Proven experience executing and managing post-merger integrations and carve-outs.
- Strong understanding of regional market dynamics within the Middle East.
- Expertise in operational due diligence, post-merger integration, and operational turnarounds.
- Arabic language proficiency is required.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
