The Expertise Connect (EC) Team at IBM is seeking a highly skilled individual to join their team focusing on the Integration portfolio, particularly the Cloud Pak for Integration. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will provide IBM Clients access to customized technical assistance, blending deep specialty skills in the IBM Product with a working understanding of the Client’s solution. Your Role and Responsibilities

Technical Planning, Decision-Making, and Problem-Solving
- Provide input into technical decision-making related to the Product.
- Collaborate with clients for proactive planning to avoid problems and enhance solution capability.
- Guide clients on event preparation readiness during critical business periods, such as seasonal peak system loads or application go-lives.
- Assist clients in performance tuning and resolving stability concerns.
- Help clients with interoperability, application issues, and integration points in their solutions.

Technical Knowledge Sharing
- Deliver customized recommendations for using Product functionality in specific applications or use cases.
- Review client's team skills related to the Product and provide recommendations to close identified gaps.
- Provide technical information and proven practices to Designated Contacts.
- Conduct knowledge sharing sessions on technical topics to help clients apply Product knowledge to their environment.
This role requires flexibility to meet client needs quickly and efficiently while minimizing the risk of downtime and facilitating the deployment and integration of new solutions. Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of success as a delivery consultant, pre-sales, enterprise architect, or similar role.
- 1-2 years of experience consulting on the following IBM products:
- IBM Cloud Pak for Integration
- API Connect / DataPower
- MQ
- App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
- Basic experience consulting for OpenShift, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Linux.
- Proven track record of technical client management both remotely and on client site.
- Experience in handling difficult customers or situations and demonstrating resolutions.
- Ability to execute customer success plans to drive adoption post-deployment and guide clients through migration projects.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Additional consulting skills related to Cloud Pak for Integration and RedHat OpenShift Container Platform.
