Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, your day-to-day activities will include:
- Solving Client Challenges Effectively: Understand clients' primary challenges and develop innovative solutions that provide significant business value. This involves working through the phases of design, development, integration, implementation, migration, and product support.
- Agile Planning and Execution: Create and execute agile plans, overseeing asset installation and provisioning, testing, migrating to production, and managing day-two operations.
- Technical Solution Workshops: Engage in conducting and participating in workshops dedicated to technical solutions.
- Building Effective Relationships: Develop successful relationships at all organizational levels, from engineers to executives, while effectively navigating challenging discussions towards productive resolutions.
- Self-Motivated Problem Solver: Exhibit a proactive approach to problem solving, utilizing curiosity and initiative to find answers and present solutions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Maintain strong collaborative and communication skills while working across client, partner, and IBM teams.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Proven experience as a delivery consultant, pre-sales consultant, enterprise architect, or equivalent role for at least 2-3 years.
- Experience with the following IBM products for at least 1-2 years: IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (API Connect, DataPower, MQ, App Connect Enterprise).
- Basic knowledge in consulting for OpenShift, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Linux.
- Demonstrated success in managing technical client relationships remotely and on-site.
- Strong track record in handling difficult customer situations and achieving resolutions.
- Ability to execute customer success plans to drive product adoption post-deployment.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Additional consulting skills related to Cloud Pak for Integration and RedHat OpenShift Container Platform.
