The Expertise Connect (EC) Team is seeking a skilled individual to join its ranks, focusing on the Integration portfolio, specifically the Cloud Pak for Integration. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will provide IBM clients with tailored technical assistance, leveraging your deep knowledge of IBM products and your familiarity with client solutions.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Technical Planning and Decision-Making: Offer guidance on technical decision-making for the Product, collaboratively assess proactive planning to avoid issues, and enhance solution capabilities related to change management, product lifecycle, and operational readiness.
- Problem-Solving: Assist clients in performance optimization, stability issues, and interoperability concerns by delivering relevant technical recommendations.
- Knowledge Sharing: Conduct personalized sessions that educate clients on effective product usage, filling skill gaps, and promoting best practices.
- Flexibility and Responsiveness: Adapt to client needs swiftly to minimize downtime, facilitating smooth deployments and integrations of new solutions while adhering to IBM best practices.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- A minimum of 2-3 years as a delivery consultant, pre-sales, or enterprise architect.
- 1-2 years of experience with IBM products, particularly in:
- IBM Cloud Pak for Integration: API Connect, DataPower, MQ, App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
- Basic familiarity with OpenShift, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Linux.
- Proven track record of managing technical client relationships both remotely and on-site.
- Ability to navigate challenges and facilitate resolutions effectively.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Additional consulting experience with Cloud Pak for Integration and RedHat OpenShift Container Platform.
